Title: Lump on Right Breast???
Post by: TheQuestion on May 31, 2015, 07:56:48 PM
So hey, I've been on HRT for just about 2 months now.  I feel like my skin has gotten a lot drier and probably softer.  I had pretty soft skin to begin with, but I feel like it's solidified itself as being such recently.  I'm having breakouts here and there too, but it seems like it's on it's way to being totally clear.  Most of the breakouts are in areas I have to shave still.

Anyway, my chest has been really sore for the last couple weeks, pretty pronounced feeling.  Then a couple nights ago I noticed there is a massive lump behind my left nipple, not so much on my right.  It's pretty hard too.  That sounds about right... right?  I mean I'm sort of freaked I just gave myself breast cancer, but I'd guess more so that it's ducts growing or something.  Either way, I'm a little freaked out, but I'll keep going with the HRT.  Is that a good sign as far as my responsiveness to HRT?  I mean, 7 weeks in and I have a pretty noticeable lump and soreness on both sides.  I kind of feel like I'm getting fat on my inner thighs already too.

I'm still sketched out and afraid that I'm not gonna be read as female, but I'm hoping I respond well.  I just don't know though.  Anyway, thanks in advance everyone...

It's a breast bud and is nothing to worry about. Trust me it's a sign your body is responding well to the hormones and that something amazing is already beginning. Hugs

Yes, it's a breast bud. The tenderness and soreness are all part of growing breasts - congrats, you are on your way! :)

I'm fairly certain that I shouldn't be worried that there's basically only one on the left side and just a lot of soreness on the right... right?  It's pretty standard for them to develop at slightly different rates, isn't it?  I'm hoping it isn't too soon either.  I once mentioned that I was on a low does a few weeks back and someone said taking too high a does could lead to a problem with them budding too soon.  I was on Estrogen for the first month,b now just , so I doubt that would be too high a does.  I've also been on two a day for about 3 1/2 months, one in the morning and one at night.  Regardless, thanks everyone.

Mod Edit- No dosages please. Dosages are against TOS 8. Thanks

It almost always starts with one one breast first. As Grace and I said it's completely normal. Welcome to your second puberty. I'm glad your paying close attention to them, but in this case it's normal. Often they will grow at different rates and sometimes different moments too. Good luck and hugs
