Title: but the lady...
Post by: Mai on June 01, 2015, 10:36:39 AM
so, after a bleh... average night at work.  i had just clocked off and was going through the self checkout and this cute little girl, maybe 3 or 4 years old decided to try to follow me.  her mom called her back over to her and the little girl stoped and pointed at me while i was walking away and said.  "but the lady ..."  and something else i couldnt understand.  but i very clearly heard that much XD so i guess its becoming noticeable to little childeren.

i promply went as quickly as i could out to my vehicle avoiding any coworkers that were nearby that might have heard so i wouldnt get any s*** from them about it (coworkers dont know yet).

even though im now almost 3 months on hormones and attempting moreso to hide it right now. im starting to wonder how my coworkers dont know yet with how much has already changed.  maybe they do know already and just arent saying anything.

Kids are wonderful. I hear horror stories about being clocked by them but so far it has only happened once and it was at a friends house and it seems as though they told her.

Congrats - kids are always the hardest to convince so that's a good sign.

People don't tend to notice day to day changes, even after they've been going on for several months. They might have noticed something but will be unlikely to connect it transition, mainly because the majority have never encountered someone going through that process before and/or don't actually know/understand what's involved. It's the people who haven't seen you for a few months who will notice the changes.
