The adamantly homophobic Westboro Baptist Church last month threatened to picket the imaginary wedding of Dumbledore and Gandalf.
The threat came after the fundamentalist US Church read on PinkNews that Harry Potter author JK Rowling had endorsed the marriage of her gay character, Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore and Gandalf, played by out actor Sir Ian McKellan.

Sorry, but I just had to post this after Devlyn found it. Yes it should be in People News, but this just strikes me as toooooooooooooo funny. I love humorous acts of lunacy that have a message, especially to Westboro.
I hope they have a wonderful honeymoon .

Famed wizards Dumbledore and Gandalf tied the knot yesterday a [philosopher's] stones throw away from the hideously homophobic Westboro Baptist Church.
The 'wedding' was set up by Planting Peace and the Equality House, which was set up in Topeka, Kansas, the home of the WBC.
