Hello i got a question does wearing compression shorts make your hips change shape by making them less wider permanently or stop them growing?

No. The shorts will cause pain and numbness if they are too tight though.

But they do stop some clinging under dress pants., especially for heavier thighs.  (I wear the right size for me.)

Compression shorts are for short term coverage, for lack of a better term. I use them for costumes. They won't change your hip shape though. Hips are tricky because of bone structure. At one point when I was younger I tried supposed slimming shorts that were supposed to help with spot weight loss. They ended up compressing too tightly. They are fine for hiding hips (don't wear them too long) but they won't change your body shape, similar to binders.

Wear some baggy pants to hide your hips if you have large feminine hips.

If you want to hide wide hips, the best way is to bulk up the shoulders... I have pretty wide hips (about 40"), but i managed to work out my shoulders to be 48" to give a more square off shape.  I do not have the V shape by no means, but it sure take away most of my hip dysphoria.  Just my $0.02!  Cheers! :D :icon_drunk:
