Title: Out of the Closet
Post by: Jake25 on June 14, 2015, 06:22:52 PM
I was already out partially because I always wear men's clothes. I came out fully yesterday on facebook, and told my new name and that I'd like to be referred to as a he. My long distance relatives are handling it better than I thought. I still haven't gotten reactions out of everyone yet. For the most part it's looking good.

Congrats, Jake! That was how I went about coming out, too, on Facebook. That's great that family's so supportive, and hopefully as word reaches more people, you'll find yourself surrounded by supportive friends and family.

Congratulations jake.  Coming out on Facebook is very brave.  Not sure how many FB friends you have but just be careful you don't get swamped with questions all at the one time. Hope you get lots of supportive responses.  We are hear for you if you need us. Love and hugs. Jx

Congrats Jake. That is a big step for you. I came out to most via Facebook too. It was the quickest way to let the most know quickly. Hugs
