I took my first baby step of what I pray will be a long, eventful and fun-filled life. I came out to my uncle via text (he was working). I call this a baby step simply because he's been out for about 20 years since he got with his boyfriend. So i used my first out as a warmup slash advice session. Then i came out to one of my bosses while at work and had a good long, fruitful talk with her. She was extremely supportive and actually interested in helping me through the worst part yet. Well off to bed. Just had to share a little bit of news with someone lol.
Yay big baby steps
Congrats to you, coming out to a boss is not what I'd consider as a baby step :-*

well she happens to be a bi in her first m/f relationship after several f/f relationships so she's a lot more understanding than others. in addition we have a transgender FtM working there that is already out and in transition so that has helped to soften up everyone to the subject.
OK... so a toddler step then ;)

Congrats - It still takes courage.
Wishing you a safe and fruitful journey!
Hugs,
Congradulations! That's so awesome! Every step counts, and every coming out helps regardless of their reaction. I hope you're feeling fabulous and if you need anyone to talk to I'm here.

I do feel great.
There is such freedom in being honest with yourself and others.

Congratulations Becca. It is a big relief to come out. Sounds like you picked safe people as well as your fist ones. I spent ages choosing my first ones. So glad it's gone so well. There will be challenges ahead with it so just know we are all here for you every baby step along the road. The biggest change I have found, as you have said, is that I feel more honest as a person. It's those positive feelings that will keep you going from now on. Love and big hugs. Jx
Congrats on the baby step. Amazing how it feels after coming out to someone and it goes well. Hugs
