Hey loves,
Where can I find a doctor that will do hrt with pellet implants? I've searched everywhere and in so many forums and haven't found any specifics. If you have any idea, please let me know!!
Thanks :)
Hi Badgalrhyrhy, welcome to Susan's. I look forward to seeing you around the forums. Sorry that I don't have an answer for you question, but I'm sure someone else should be able to help. Good luck and Hugs

Pellet implants are used for menopausal women.
So there should be quite a few endos or gyns aquainted with it.
Another option would be to look for an endo knowledgable in trans needs, and tell them you want to use them.
There are compounding pharmacies who produce them. They even send international to docs or endos.
There is info material available from some compounding pharmacies.
They provide materials for application and how to use it, even a dvd for docs/endos.
One form of hrt uses a dose of estrogen and bioidentical progesterone even without further anti androgen.
This works only with pellets or injectables. Testo should be in the female range.
The bioidentical progesterone to help even out some effects of estro, for some antiandrogen effects and for help with breast ducts.
Available are bioidentical estrogen, bioidentical progesterone ( which might give problems with extrusion, this should be asked at the compounding pharmacy) and even low dose testo pellets for people after srs.
Many say its the best way of application.

Hi RhyRhy :icon_wave:
Welcome to Susan's :) Glad to have you here, join on in the fun
Maybe try running a search for Estrogen pellet therapy for transgender? Many Dr.s are familiar with each other across the country because they attend most of the same conferences together - IE: A Dr. in Calif. may be able to refer you to a Dr. near you in NYC or at least to some Dr.s nearest to your area
