I just sort of wanted to make this post because I'm excited haha. I had my final appointment with my psychologist after 3 years and in 7 months I'll be starting T. (I have to wait for my 18th birthday because it's illegal for them to give cross-sex hormones to anyone under 18). I'm really excited but scared. its a huge change. One I'm ready for. But completely scared because of unwanted side effects of T (like hair loss, acne, possible fat gain, etc) however, I've somewhat come to terms with the fact these side effects are possible for me. I've planned ways of dealing with them if they happen. So I feel very prepared.
How did you feel when you were gonna start T? What effects did you experience within the first 6 months? I'm super curious! I've also noticed how much I've changed over the past 3 years. So I thought I'd post a photo of me 3 years ago and a photo that was taken a few weeks ago. :3

looks like you'll do quite well on T.
Congratulations, dude!
I'm still in the first 6 months and have seen some really dramatic changes, partially due to my already low estrogen levels. I've had fat redistribution (slimming of hips and thickening of waist), muscle gain (aided by regular workouts), a more masculine jawline, a thicker neck, downstairs growth, and a significant voice drop. I started passing almost completely at the 2 1/2 month mark.
Everyone is different, but hopefully that lets you know what you can expect at the beginning of transition!
Congratuations, man! That's awesome.
