Title: Transition
Post by: Riley Skye on June 21, 2015, 05:36:43 PM
I can't believe how far in transition I've come, the past 2.5 years has been such a blur and a roller coaster. I'm now almost three months post srs, though I still got one surgery left to fix a complication. Transition has been so traumatic but I finally have my body! Even though I still suffer from bad ptsd from the abuse I faced I can finally call this body my own :)

Thanks, I got a lot to go through still. Transition sucked but I'm gonna come out stronger. I do want to give back to the community. Susan's helped me so much, I know I've shied away but I'm beyond grateful for how much help I've gotten at the beginning.

I had a pretty decent and very painful complication. With that said thanks to my doctors amazing care I've been healing pretty well and the second op will be easy!

Glad to hear from you again.  Living life with out the problem of living as the wrong gender is soooo much better.

Hugs

And I started feeling that way in the fall before surgery, once I was being gendered correctly it all feel into place.

Also I can't say enough good things about Dr Mcginn, I've been recording excellent care through this complication and she really wants me to be healthy physically and mentally, I can't recommend her enough!
