Hi everyone,
When I went down to see the Facial Team this May, I stayed here:
Hotel San Cristobal in Marbella
http://www.hotelsancristobal.com/homedir/en/#
If you are unable to stay at Jenny's Place because she is full, this is a good alternative.
It's a 3 star hotel and Jenny recommended it to me because she was full at the time.
I paid just 47.17 Euros a night for the room and an excellent buffet breakfast.
I stayed 3 nights - total 141.51 Euros = £105.84 = £35.28 a night.
Just out of interest I looked at their prices in mid November this year for a double room ( 2 persons ) and breakfast for 14 nights.
The price came to 52.48 Euros a night x 14 nights = 734.72 Euros which is £521.70 total.
That comes to £37.26 a night for 2 people. A great price.

Mine is the latest one including fotos that I took.
Jenny's Place is 5 minutes walk from the hotel too.
HC Marbella where the Facial Team operate is about 10 to 15 minutes taxi ride away going west towards Puerto Banus.
Hi, I got your PM, but I don't have permission to reply.
I used the site HomeAway to find my apartment for the 11 nights on my Facial Team schedule. If you put the code p6198990 into the 'Where would you like to go'? search field then it should come up with the place.
I'm going in peak time so most the places were quite expensive on the Facial Team's accommodation PDF that they provide. Indeed this place was €300 cheaper than the cheapest available apartment on their list.
It looks like that in November when you go they charge €50 a night, so it would be €700 for 14 nights, which converting with Transferwise this morning would be £499.84 or £35.70 a night there (obviously no breakfast is included though).
Hi Charlotte,
Thank you very much for this.
The apartment looks very nice.
I have had another member send me details of a place to stay so I am now spoilt for choice ... 8)
Take care and good luck with your surgery.
You will be fine.

Hi ladies,
I am typing this note from the terrace of Jenny's new place, a 20 minute walk or a few minutes cab ride from her old place in Old Marbella. The new Nest is absolutely wonderful! It is surrounded by a courtyard wall for privacy. There are several bedrooms to accommodate more Facial Team patients than her previous place. There is a beautiful terrace in back off of both the kitchen and living room. The pool is on the other side of the house with a mountain in the background. My jaw dropped the first time I saw the place after Nicola, who is working with Jenny, picked me up from the airport. The inside of the house is beautiful as well. My room has a walk-in closet and its own bathroom with marble tile.
It's like I have a wealthy friend letting me say at her awesome house while I'm here for surgery. Clearly, Jenny has to charge for the place and her time, but it does feel much more like I am staying with friends than anything else.
My surgery is tomorrow morning. Wish me luck!
Kim
Good luck Kim, I am sure you will be fine ... :)
Let us know how you get on.
Please give my regards to Jenny.
Paula
For the attention of Shoko.Dear Shoko,
Last May, Jenny's Nest ( the original one ) was full and she recommended this hotel among others.
If I was not sharing an apartment with my friend and spending a few days with Jenny and Nicola after my surgery, I would definitely be staying at the Hotel San Cristobal.

It's great value and the breakfast is excellent.
It's 5 minutes walk away from Marbella Old Town and the famous ' Orange Square' which is stunning.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marbella
The only drawback is that it's on the main road and at night it can be a bit noisy from all the tourists walking about. But it has aircon but you can close the windows at night which I did. Try and get a room at the side or rear.
It has a lift to all floors.
You can choose to go half board if you wish and as I said, it's right next door to Marbella's old town where there are many eating places. You can eat dinner at the hotel but I chose not to because of the many restaurants close by.
It's also 10 minutes walk, if that, from the beach.
There is a taxi rank diagonally opposite and bus stops to go either west or east.
It's a really good place to stay and very reasonable.
