Heartbreaking - may she find peace.
all these stories of suicide because of who we are really so sad. She was trying to help others cope with their situation and found suicide as her only solution at 32 . You would think there should be a lot more help in society to prevent all this tragedy.

"Jess Shipps, a tireless advocate for transgender military personnel took her own life on 23 June. She was 32."
I don't know what to say except this never seems to end. Oh this is so sad. I wonder if recent events publicizing the Transgender issue may have been a trigger. I know I've felt more raw in the last couple of months. It just seems to be more in our face recently. Sure there has been a ton of positive, but there's also been a lot of negative.
I just want to let everyone here know that you are worth it and your life is as valuable as any other person's on this planet. We're special and it's high time the world wakes up to this.
Take care,
Paige :)
My heart aches for her, I think i have seen all of her Youtube videos. Rest in peace Jess.
It made me cry watching her last video.rest in peace Jess god bless you
This is truly heartbreaking and I hope and pray she has found peace. :'( Everyone's life has value. If you or someone you know is thinking of taking their own life .... please think before you act and consider this. An elderly Jewish gentleman once said to me that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem and in most situations, a solution can be found. Please don't give up. Remember there are people who love and need you. Our community needs you.
Love,
Miles
