Hello everyone! I've been lurking this forum for years and have been getting my information from here since I was 16! I just turned 20 and have been on HRT for a year!! Im so excited! So much has happened! I decided to make an account to contribute to my knowledge of what I'VE been through! (Can't believe I can do this now! It seemed like just yesterday I was getting information from all of you!)
A little about me: I'm 20, college girl, I've been in stealth since about 6 months prior to starting HRT, dating an amazing guy, we are polar opposites! I worked at Hooters with my sister (Up until two months ago) and had another part time job as a sales consultant. I'm now looking into having SRS and am pursuing my letter for it! (Its so nerve racking!). On another note: I Have an amazing boyfriend (He was really disappointed when I told him that I was Trans. He is having problems with it, but He just doesn't like to talk about it, hes really not good with emotions). While he is a strict Conservative, christian, hunter type of guy he still loves and cares for me just as he always did. :D what can I say, opposites attract I guess? (Met him my freshman year of college) I am going to school to be a therapist for abused kids, sex addicts, marriage counselor and work in the field of Human Services. At least for now ;) I really have no clue which one of those groups I want to work with. I just love helping people. I have a really supportive family, they called me by my name since I was 6. and transitioning was never really tough, I was home schooled for alot of my youth as well! I'm so glad to be apart of this forum!

Hi Daisy welcome to Susan's. Congrats on being on HRT already. I have know doubt you will figure out who you want to work with in time. Some are not able to show there emotions really well and that is understandable. It's a lot to wrap your head around for us and for them well it's even more. I have found communication is a big key. I look forward to seeing you around the forums. Good luck and Hugs

Welcome to Susan's place. I am glad you were able to start so young because it will leave you far more of your life to enjoy in your new role. I hope you enjoy it here and should you still have questions, feel free to ask. I am post 33 year and I can tell you life will be even better once SRS is a distance behind you.
