Geez...I feel like I've got one foot in the grave! Just over 60 and STARTING to transition!

Maybe you'll just have a richer, more complex understanding of and presentation of masculinity than the younger ones!

Age is not a barrier, if its something you must do, then do it! i'm 1.5 on from you... But for me its moving into the final push of transitioning that is...

CaptainAFAB...I don't know about understanding but the complex part I've got! Katy..I'm determined to live out the rest of my life happier than I've ever been. It's just the details of "coming out" and "passing" that boggle me.

Welcome and you are not too old. I am 40 and since I started my transition I feel 20 years younger. So welcome to your new life.

57 here and started my transition last fall. I have no regrets. Yes it takes time to figure it all out - how to get from where you are at to where you want to be. Just keep moving forward, collect a support group and trust the girl inside.

Thanks everyone for the support! I've had a great two weeks! "Out" to family and work..all positive except brother/nieces. But I can't let that stop me. I will send them love and move on!

Congrats on starting on the path! I am over 60 and am in my first year! Going slow but I feel so much better knowing that I am coming from a better place. I truly believe that it is never too late. Being able to be authentic and honest is so important.
