"The AP is reporting the Pentagon is finalizing a plan to lift the ban on transgender service members."
I'm for this as long as we're not singled out for suicide missions.
This would be a huge step forward if it happens. Unfortunately, Carter is giving our enemies about six months to figure out how to stop this.
You dont know how happy this makes me. Im in the navy and now i can finally start my hrt.

This is a step forward, but even if they lifted the ban, there are a LOT of things to be figured out
Skimmed the headline on the news today. My first thought was, "Oh god no. That could put a lot of people in danger."

Well ya were in the military. People WILL come around. Every person i told to a T didn't care or was extremely happy i told them. Even my super christian roommate was just like so. Most of all the reactions were like "I just thought you were kinda gay but I saw you with women sooooooo. "(Witch i then say i am gay cause i like women and i am one lol).Thats how it was for me but I don't know how it will be for others.
