Hiya!
I live in North Wales as a student, and wish to get a GIC referral to the Laurels, but can't as NHS Wales only refer to Charring Cross :-/ So I must re-register with a near-by English GP, and the nearest accessible city/ place I can get to is Chester. Could anybody tell me if they've been to or are registered with a trans-friendly (ie. the doctors know what they're doing and aren't judgmental) GPs around this area? Any help will be greatly appreciated! :D

This document may prove useful.....but you may have to provide an address that lays within the catchment area for the practice you wish to register with.

When I had GRS (many-many decades ago) it was done by a female surgeon in North Wales, what a pity things have been 'centralised' and you face such large distances presenting for care.
Unfortunately you'll need an address within the surgeries catchment area to register, any gp within the UK will be able to refer you, do you know anyone who lives in the UK who would let you use their address to register?
I'm with the Laurels and they are miles better than CHX so this is a worthwhile endeavor.
After two appointments there they offered to do therapy by phone to cut down on travelling, they said that they'll make sure my endo appointment and my next face to face therapy are booked on the same day back to back to prevent me having two journeys to Exeter.
Thank you all for your advice! <3 I read somewhere that you can now be referred to whatever GP you wish, so I don't think re-registering with one will be an issue. I think I may have found a decent one; the Northgate Medical Centre. I'll see if anybody has had any experience with this one ^_^
