Title: Muscle spasm when injecting.
Post by: wkly1269 on July 28, 2015, 11:08:05 AM
I was just giving myself a T injection and when i was inserting the needle my leg muscles began to twitch and spasm. It was not painful it just felt like alot of pressure. I was just wondering if it is possible I just hit a nerve? This has not happened before.

This has happened to me a few times as well but I'm not sure what causes it or how to avoid it.

This happens to me a lot too. I think it's because you're anticipating the shot and your muscles tense up. I usually take a hot shower and then do my injection. It helps me relax a little bit and I think the warmth with also help your muscle relax. Nothing to worry about it's perfectly normal.
