Title: 41 days and counting down
Post by: kayla 38 on August 01, 2015, 10:42:11 AM
The time is counting down, only 41 days till we leave for Thailand for SRS and FFS with the good Dr. SUPORN. I'm not sure if I'm more excited or more nervous about this trip? Excited because this is something I have always longed for and took years of research and preparation to have done. Nervous because I worry about the out come and results. Nervous cuz i still have some little voice in my head doubting my decision on removing something that can not be fixed or replaced. Excited because finally will be complete and not afraid or hesitant to let my husband touch me down there and finally be able to have sex the way I want it. Ug. I know all my girl friends are excited and lining up to see the results, wonder if I should charge admission, lol. I'm still trying to figure out what exactly to pack for this trip. If any of you girls have any advice please let me know. Thanks

Thanks laura, I've been compiling different messages on what to take and what to expect. All though no one trip is ever the same it does help.

I had nerves and doubts going through my head up to the monument the lights went out. If you don't have those thoughts your aren't going into this with open eyes and run the risk of a mistake.

The good news is when I first woke up after the surgery, my vision was blurred, I hurt and I wanted to go back to sleep but the only thought in my head was I made the right decision. At that point all doubt was gone from my head and it never returned. I hope your new life is better than mine and mine has been pretty good.

Thank you Dena, I'm sure your right on doubts. I had serious doubts when I had my breasts done years ago and then last jan again when I hap lipo and fat grafting. All turned out great and living the results. When u had doubts before my therapist told me it would be a huge confidence booster and help with feeling more feminine than I already was. And she was right. I'm just the type that worries about everything and things that never come to past.

34 days and counting. I received an email from Sophie asking to fill out the new questioniare for patients. Typical standard health and sex questions, past surgery questions and money's paid for the surgery and hotel accommodations. Well she gave me good news and said that I over paid by another 20,000, bringing the total over payment up to 37,000 baht. So the stress level over money is coming down. Actually the nervousness and stress level about the surgeries all together are lessing. I talked with my mother about the surgeries and she said she knew they were coming but was hoping they wouldn't happen, so that was a huge relief to hear to from her. I'll keep you posted.

I hope it all goes well for you :) I am sure once you get to Thailand and are settled in you'll have nothing but excitement. By the time I had everything booked I'd done all the worry and doubting and was focusing on enjoying the whole experience. I hope it's the same for you

Hugs

Thank gals. Wow time is flying only 16 days now for departure. Trying to finalize all the little details, more details about work than for this surgery. Make sure projects gets completed, customers are taken care of, and husband know what needs done. I had originally planned on him coming with me, now it's looking more like he will be there for a short period of time. Oh well I'll take what I can get at this point in time.
Good news though, Sophie sent me an email explaining a that I have over paid an additional 20,000 baht over the 17,000 that was originally over paid. I can handle that, having an extra 1000$US is nice.
