For the first time, I went outside as myself- and I didn't die! It was a really small step, my friend taking me out in his car to a drive-through to get dinner, but it was huge for me! I just had to share that, thanks for reading. :)
Yay, congrats.
Yays! Big hug, every little step helps! Proud of ya!
Hugs, Devlyn
Ha! That's more or less exactly what I did the first time. I didn't die either- quite the opposite, actually. The second time I actually got out of the car in the "gayborhood".
Still not dead.
Congratulations
Yea!
Big step....
Hugs

:D The first step may seem small, but its the step responsible for every step after. Congrats!
That first step out is frightening. But it gets eaiser each time. The next thing you know you are living as your authentic self full time. Like Jill, I'm not dead yet either.
Big congrats Riven, confidence boosting?
Its certainly a small but BIG step... enjoy many more, the more you do this the more you become relaxed and confident.

Good on you! I bet you had some serious butterflies, huh? ;) My first time out was with a few girl-friends, so I felt protected. It always helps to have a friend. Congratulations! :)
I remember the first night I went out. It was late in tucson AZ at 10 and I was accompanied by a fellow transgirl. That was may of this year before i started hormones. Now I'm out more than ever infront of my own house
It was really surreal, I couldn't even believe I was just walking to his car like that.
Wow.......congratulations!! You must be feeling great after that.
Thank you for sharing your lovely experience. It really gives me a reason to smile😌
Wonderful! Very happy for you! It really is a *huge* step, and yet, at some point in the future you will look back and wonder what all of the fuss was about. Very curious that way.
