Hello, it's me. i am an early 50 something year old who is going to transition (mtf) over the course of the next two years. I have been in counseling and have an excellent doctor who i have been seeing for many years leading up to this transition. My spouse is supportive of my transition... It took a lot to get to this point with her but here we are. i work in a place that is completely not supportive of my transition and they can legally get away with it. (i don't want to argue about this) So i expect to lose my job and actually i am good with that. I hope i can find a new job but in the meantime, i hope to have bottom surgery next summer. I plan on working for another year after that and then having ffs surgery the following summer. After that, my hope is to find a new job and finally be the woman i have always been inside. Haa I am a little over 10 yrs on from you (well OK 10.25 ::))... and about to continue (re-ignite)my career, with transitioning FT sometime after the 6 mth Probationary period.... Best wishes for your journey and continuing or new career.
