Five years before actor Laverne Cox became a household name, five years before Miley Cyrus said, "I don't relate to being boy or girl, and I don't have to have my partner relate to boy or girl" and five years before Caitlyn Jenner would share her transition with the world, I came across the term "transgender" for the first time.

========================
Not a bad article.
Thank you for posting this article Serverlan. :)
Np, Lady Smith.
I was drawn to the article (which I enjoyed very much), as I'm starting to think that non-binary is my range. Think I'll always look male (maybe), but there's lots of other stuff going on with me. I've seen people strive for the binary here, and I don't identify with that at all (not with any kind of continuity, anyway).
Rawr:3.
Nice read, although the confusion isn't that nice.
"allowed me to start imagining a future for myself."
Very much!
"I have been out as an agender, or genderless, person for about a year now. To me, this simply means having the freedom to exist as a person without being confined by the limits of the western gender binary."
Whaw this seems fun.
seeds towards a better world :)!
