There is a closed transgender group called Transgender World.If I In join the group will my fbk friends that I don't want to know be able to see me on the group or will I be the only one able to see it?

Yes, they will be able to. You can change your settings so they won't but even then it will show up in group suggestions. Only private groups on Facebook don't show up in your listings or suggestions. I hope that helps. Hugs

Well nothing prevents you from making more than one facebook account... so you can keep memberships in different places...
I have looked it up it says people can look the group up but only members can see the posts. HUGS!

Correct. You didn't ask the question in that regard which is why I answered the way I did. As far as what you post only open groups will result in them seeing what you post in a group unless they are a member too. Sorry if I didn't read in to your question the first time the way you hoped. Hugs

Anything that you post in the group will stay in the group, but as far as being in the group or anything like that my first post applies. It's there way of letting people they feel with common interests know of groups they may like, but anything you post to the group stays in a closed or private group among it's members. Hey Mariah2014 I joined a closed group on fbk was accepted yesterday morning. It is on my Facebook page but so far non of my friends I don't want to know yet haven't seen it my wife checked my profile on her Facebook pg so far I can see no one has seen it yet. Have been talking to someone I just met the first day texted back and forth for hrs. yesterday.

No worries Beverly, Hugs back. If they don' go into groups or don't pay attention to the ads on the right side of the page they won't notice your in the group. It's done the same way they get around you blocking your friends list up yet others get you as a suggestion. Hugs
