I've recently moved and had to switch electrologists. I found one who was well-priced, but she works without magnification. My prior electrologist used one of those 10x magnification giant lens things and did a really good job, and I assume that almost every electrologist will use some kind of magnification to help them see what they're doing.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a sign of a poorly-trained or inexperienced electrologist, or just a girl with really good eyesight?
When I had my electro done many years ago now the technician who did all my work for me didn't use magnification either and I had excellent results. It may simply be that her eyesight is sharp enough to do a good job.
None of the electros I've used have ever used magnification. My current one does have very good lighting and I presume she has very good eyesight too!
Mine didn't use magnification lens either.
My electrologist told me if you can feel the hair being pulled out, the hair follicle was not killed. So then they were not doing a good job. You might feel the heat on the hair. Repeats on hair that has to be done over, maybe the hair follicle was not killed or the dead hair(to be replaced by another) was falling out of the follicle when it was being sapped(keyboard).
My electrologist would never think of doing mine without magnification & she also uses very bright lights. Can't imagine how one could do this with just the naked eye.
