Just trying to garner an idea where others are at in relation. I started sorta young, (25 years old HRT) but not super young, and my waist is a pretty big dysphoric area. I definitely went through a pretty intensely strong male puberty. (see: high T levels pre transition) I can't seem to get it to look as small and dip in as much as I'd really like it to. So Maybe I'm not completely alone in this.
Right now my wast is about 34-35 inches but I'm also as a higher weight having gained maybe 40 lbs over the spring at 186 lbs.
At my lowest weight during transition when I was about 150-155 lbs I had about a 30-31 inch waist. Which wasn't perfect but far better of course.
27 inches, 8 months HRT. I started at 32 inches.
pre-HRT
Bust : 40" (under bust 40", of course)
Waist : 38"
Hips : 40"
Now (5.5 years HRT)
Bust : 45" (under bust 37")
Waist : 28"
Hips : 46"
So I have a decent waist, I guess... but I wish I were as thin as you! (I've got about 40 lbs on you at 5'7".)
>22and < 50
Pre HRT, and my measurements are
Waist 28 inches
Hips 37 inches
32"
Bust 40" (35" under bust)
Waist 32" wah need to drop 3" more!
hips 38.5" :-\ wah need extra inches! especially on the butt too!
Still happier than a few years ago :P
Katy xx
Pre HRT I had a 33 inch waist with no discernible hips. :-X
After about four months of HRT, my waist is now 27 5/8 inches, and my hips are 39 1/2 inches. :D Those measurements are from like two weeks ago though loll.
My height is 6 feet (184 cm) and current waist size is about 27 inch. My goal is 25 inch, but I suspect whether it is biologically feasible while maintaining health. My two sons have a far slimmer waist, although their heights are nearly the same as mine. When ordering skirts, I prefer 29 inch as it makes me very comfortable in daily life.

And my new 29 inch skirt:

Reducing waist size is the most difficult thing to deal with. Even if you do it for awhile it can fill our again in no time. I think the best thing is to just eat a healthy diet, get lots of exercise and take what happens. I'm 5'11" and a consistent 127 lbs., but my waist wants to stay at about 31 inches. I can live with that, though. One heavy friend thinks I'm "emaciated" as it is.
5'6" and 140 pounds.
Chest: 37" (35" underbust)
Waist: ~31.5" at the narrowest part
Hips: ~37.5"
I've been on HRT for ~2 months and my chest has actually decreased a half inch, but my underbust has decreased by a whole inch, netting me an extra half inch in the boobie department, lol. I've lost an inch in my waist, gained a half inch in my hips, and somehow my shoulders have shrunk by an inch in circumference.
30" 21" 30" were my measurements pre-hrt and that was 2 months ago. Currently i dont bother to measure since i havent noticed any dramatic changes. I'll probably do another one in a year or so.
Jeez, y'all are teeny tiny things.
If it will make you feel any better, I am 6'2" and currently have a 36 inch waist. As I take those last few pounds off, I hope to lose a couple of more inches but I don't think I will fit into anything smaller than a size 14 on the bottom and a 16 on the top. Also my age and the fact I haven't had hormones for 10 years may be a factor.
L&G's,
Please make sure you are maintaining a healthy body weight for your age and height. Calculator.net has a really good one with the different formulas, including the BMI variance (which is the one you should make sure you're falling within). Some of these might be unrealistic for your frame, but it's good to know regardless.
For rock solid information on the dangers and harm of being under or overweight, watch just about any episode of Supersize Vs Superskinny (full episodes on youtube). This show taught me A LOT about bad eating habits and the dangers therein. Highly recommend it.
Oh, and me...
Pre-HRT
38-31-38
30in 5'6. it's not that noticeable when I'm clothed but it looks bad with clothes off - I'm like a rectangle
As a former fatty I tend to focus a lot on my very flabby bulging belly among other parts. Yet people today "What fat?". Straight on sure. I have a high waist that varies between 30" and 33" on an almost daily basis it seems. My weight can also bounce 5 lbs in a day up, and 2 months down :(. Weight around 145 +/-5, down over a100lbs from my max
Between having been very heavy as a kid plus major abdominal surgery I have lot of excess flesh and poor muscle tone that gives me the Alfred Hitchcock profile. Exercising helps a little but I have absolutely zero free time, even for sleep in my life.
I am pre hrt. My waist is a size 30-28 bust I believe is 38 not 100 percent on that and I don't know how to take waist size. 160 pounds and 5'9

Waist size is the smallest measurement between your ribs and hips.
Recently my waist size increased to 29 inch, but in 3 weeks of dieting, it is now 27 inch again. I need just one inch decrease now.

I actually meant hips lol.

Hips are the largest diameter. On a developed female body that would be about crouch level but when in transition it might be a bit higher.
like 28"
The site I used to help me figure it out is called: http://www.crossdresser.com/sizechart
Here are my sizes. At 190, I would be a medium The appropriate measurement range for chest (without padding) is 37" – 41", and waist 30" – 35". If you have NOT measured your waist, then you can use your jeans size. Keep in mind that most jeans are 2" smaller than your normal waist size – so if you wear 32 jeans, you are most probably a 34" waist.
The lightest I was 160 (2 years ago), so that would make me a small. If your chest (without padding) is 34" – 37", and your Waist is under 30", this size is perfect for you!
35-27-35
Hasn't changed significantly since I started hrt almost 9 months ago. Also I am 6 feet tall and 140 pounds.
27"
I'm 5 foot 5 ish and weigh, as of this morning, 103 pounds!! I've got a very light bone structure and no muscles. Which is great until I have to do something strenuous. Like open a slightly heavy door at the cinema today lol!!!
I haven't measured my chest or shoulders but easily fit into a UK size 8 (US 4) dress or UK size 6 trousers (US size 2!!)
My hips are possibly 29 or 30 ish inches. My waist is about 22 or 23 inches.
Interestingly I can also fit into UK size 4 shoes (US 6). I usually go for one size up but a 4 fits.
Still 27 inch.

At 5'11 and 169 lbs mine is 42-33-39. I started out nine months ago pre-HRT at 205 lbs, 43-38-41.

no :)
At present my waist size is the equator but it IS shrinking. Thank G-d.
39-27-38 with a 32" rib cage on 9mth HRT. Shoulders are 41" but that's OK for now. Good enough for now.
Ideally I'd like to get my waist down to 26 maybe 25, I feel like that's pushing it. I seriously just need to start working out again.
(no-HRT)
waist 30.5", hips~38", shoulder perimeter ~41" (hard to measure it on my own so may be wrong)
34.5-30.5-38 (little muscle, even less fat, basically only some fat in the behind area, so the numbers don't do it justice)
edit: measured chest
As I am today:
39" bust
38" waist :(
42" hip
Desperately trying to get that waist down to around 32" before starting HRT, and I have a reasonable amount of muscle to lose around the shoulders and back.
35" Chest
28" Waist
36" Hips
Hoping Hrt will give my hips and chest a boost!
It depends. I go back and forth between 30" and 32".
