So I'm day 2 (or technically 2.5) on testosterone, YAY, and I feel like I can't stay full.. I'm as hungry as a horse! Did anyone else get this rush? Haha
Nope. My appetite didn't change until around the three month mark. At two days, it may be mostly placebo effect.
:)
You're not the only one.
Quite a few people report this.
I'd say try to eat healthy :)

When I was in puberty, I could put away two full plates of food at dinner as well as a double lunch and breakfast and still tip the scale at 140 pounds. I can only imagine what I could have put down if I had been physically active. With age, that did slow down. Do watch the scale and make sure you only gain the weight you want.
Carb cravings like crazy. And that's not my normal craving. (I usualy crave steak) I gained 17 pounds in 5 weeks, and no, it wasn't muscle. Most went to my stomach, but some went to the girl areas >:(
YES! I have been on T more than 4 years, and I STILL get the 'hungries' about a day or two after my shot. Ravenous appetite would describe it well! I am also fairly active, so I do not worry about it so much, but it definitely coincides with the hormone schedule.
it's most likely a placebo effect...because you've heard other guys say it happens.
i did notice that i was hungry more often on gel, versus injections.
It didn't happen at first when I started but I did notice this later on, especially after injecting. But it usually dies down after a while.
I hear that drinking water and eating fiber filled food is good for keeping you full.
When I was on natural T during my awful awful boy puberty, me and my brothers had ravenous appetites for meat, its because the T wants to build muscle and it must consume many types of meat based protein.
Now, the estrogen makes me want chocolate bahaha! :-*
Mod Edit- Messages that can be found to offensive are against TOS 5
My appetite didn't change on T. One thing to consider is that prior to starting, you may have had some stress and depression present that was negatively effecting your appetite. As Dena said, watch that you don't gain too much weight. If you are planning on having surgery, its easier on the surgeon if you are normal weight rather than over weight.
