While I enjoy getting dolled up every day, it is taking too much time with application and removal each day. I received this revelation after taking my first Aikido class Wednesday. I would like to attend more than three times per week in the future but my routine is costing way too much time. I can sacrifice looking good if need be. It's tough and hopefully I can sustain it long term. I'll still get dolled up for special events.
What revelation have you had?
when in hurry I don't need fish net stockings
I don't have to shave my legs every day :D
And stockings are never the right size, they will quickly rip.
Never look in the car mirror it makes you look awful so close up.
A single speck of dust is all it takes to ruin a DIY manicure.

A corollary of this for me: Putting on makeup on the left side of the bathroom mirror makes me look like I have hepatitis with giant pores, but I'm just fine.
Long fingernails make many easy tasks nearly impossible. They look wonderful but they're not worth it.
With makeup, less is more. Sometimes, nearly none is appropriate.
It takes me 30 minutes to blow dry, straighten, and style my hair. Or I can comb it and put it in a ponytail in 3 minutes now that it's long enough.
