Figured I'd actually post something on here rather than being a sporadic lurker for the past billion years.
My name is Danielle, I'm 29 and I'm a decent way through my transition other than having GRS (working on this.) I'm pretty stealth so I'm debating putting an image up. I live in the Baltimore area, but not where the riots were. I'm also a police officer, but luckily didn't have to go to the riots as I was off those days luckily.
I've had rhinoplasty (which I will probably do again as I am not happy with it), a tracheal shave (which is being re-done next month), facial fat grafting to my cheeks and lips, and breast augmentation. I'm sure I will get more after I get out the small hill of debt I have incurred, but GRS is my current goal.
If anyone wants to chit chat or anything, feel free to hit me up.
Ciao!
Welcome to Susan's Place. You have some time to think about your image because your account won't unlock until you get 15 quality post. After that, personalize you account however you feel comfortable. As for the trach shave, be careful with that one. I had a reconstructive plastic surgeon do mine and he was very conservative with the procedure because he didn't want to risk damage to my voice. 35 years later, I have had voice surgery and I received pretty much all the voice surgery had to offer. Had my voice been damaged, putting me in the correct range wouldn't have been possible. I do have a little bump there, but nobody has ever noticed it.
As for the rhinoplasty, I had one of those as well at the same time. I needed some clean up but it wasn't a major priority at the time. Over the next year, I found I liked the rhinoplasty more and more as the swelling continued to go down and the nose reshaped.

Thanks for the welcome! I had the rhinoplasty sometime ago. It's had plenty of time to heal. My surgeon for the trach shave also went very conservative. I don't plan on having any voice surgery as that's not my biggest problem. She is just going to go back and take the point off of it. I expect it will always be a weird looking neck, but the crazy point that is there I hope to have removed.
Hi Danielle, welcome to Susan's. Never do anything you don't feel comfortable doing or that would compromise your safety. I look forward to seeing you around the forums. Good luck and Hugs

Thank ya dearie! I trust my doctors and out of my 10 surgeries (between transition and cancer treatment) and have had only one situation where I regretted it. That one was just due to results and the amount I paid for it, but not for treatment or complications.
A big warm welcome to Susan's Danielle
Sorry to hear of some of the enforced surgeries, hope you are over them... And best wishes for good outcomes in the next round(s) of surgeries.
