"In a historic victory for transgender rights in prisons, California became the first state to agree to pay for the sex reassignment surgery of Shiloh Quine, a transgender woman who has been serving a life sentence for the past 35 years."
I am kind of torn on this.
I think if you're a murderer you're the lowest of the low and society doesn't need to do anything more than keep you alive.
On the other hand, I know how bad gender dysphoria is.
By the way, when are veterans going to get their surgeries covered?
