A commentator in an article the news section suggested the separation of T from LGB because we are different. the others are sexual orientation and we are gender. I don't know , but it seems we're alone anyway. As for example the trailer for Stonewall points out we almost don't exist as part of the community even though we were just as much as the rest in bringing about the LGBT... . Would it help our cause to promote ourselves separately for those who want a community.
like i said to that post yes we should be stand alone, for i do not agree to all the policies that is granted to the gay and lesbian communies..
Well if you read up the real stonewall history it was people fighting together for their rights.
It was like the beginning of the modern lgbt movement.
Its possible there are more and more people now coming to the t, being genderqueer... nonbinary... etc...
gender itself seems to be more and more transcended by some people... not by all of course...
there may be hardcore gay people who think being bi is undecided... not having heard of a kinsey scale and that its a real preference...
who cannot grasp the t concept... but hopefully the younger generations get it and are much more open...

Hi!!
There are a high percentage of individuals under the transgender umbrella that are L, G, or B. That is one reason to stay with them. The other is numbers: there simply are not enough of us to have much influence without support from the greater LGBT community.
I realize the not everyone will agree with all parts of the LGBT community. However, considering how often I change my own mind and my own agenda, I can't really ask anyone to believe/behave exactly the same as I.
Lastly, please be careful about over generalizing other communities.
Hugs,
Jen
