The BAD one : I have seperated from my family and in a hideout or as they are still not willing to accept me as girl and offering Threat as well. :'(
The GOOD one : I have got my Hormone treatment started and even got started breast growth though not expecting within two weeks :)
I have a lot to ask but to be precise i want to know how to get rid of facial hair .i know the procedures Electrolysis and laser but a little confused. please guide me in this. i talked one at Berkowitz (Noida ,India) but they told me something about reduction i dont understand. if any one has got near Noida /Delhi please suggest Thank you
Are you asking for how the procedures work, or for someone we may be able to recommend you to? I can't speak to the latter but can explain both processes, which you may want to use both to get hair down.
Electrolysis is taking a pair of tweazers which send a signal through the hair(there are multiple versions of signal and method but all of them basically do the same thing) which kills the pholicle. This is a very long process, and is somewhat painful, as the technician performing the technique will need to do each hair, and basically amounts to them aggitating the pholicle while also forcibly removing the hair from the root. I don't really recommend electrolysis for large hair removal, but it's an invaluable technique for spot removal of stubborn hair that won't remove itself after other methods.
Laser hair removal comes with pain too, but I've found it minor in comparison. Laser Hair removal is great for large areas of hair, but falters in spot removal and can leave some thick hair behind even after the full process. If you are trying to generally remove a large amount of hair from a location, then laser is best for that. Laser hair removal works by firing a light laser over your skin, this laser is made to burn out the hair through it's pigmentation, leaving your skin unburnt, but burning the hair pholicle so that it becomes damaged and unable to regrow.
In both cases, 1 or 2 treatments will not have much noticeable effect because hair grows in waves. Underneath your currently growing hair is another wave of hair that will grow on a different cycle. The only way to get rid of such hair is to have the process done at set intervals(usually about a month) over an extended period of time. In both practices, as I've seen, you can also pay less by paying for all treatments up front, but different pay plans exist based on the location and process you choose. I'd recommend starting with laser hair removal to get the majority of it handled, and then, if you find hair that bugs you but is isolated or just didn't manage t get handled by laser removal, do electrolysis.
I did laser on my face 1st in 1 month increments until little effect was noticed then I started electrolysis. I will most likely need 130 hours and am 1/3 done. Both are painful. Electrolysis is 80% effective the first treatment and said to be "more permanent".
Permanent doesn't have measurements, but I covered what this means. Laser is a softer service that hits a large area quickly. You also won't see results from laser as quickly because it's getting what it can rather than picking over and hitting every hair, which is what electrolysis does. Also, laser success depends on the intensity of the laser and your pigmentation vs. your skin tone. Darker skinned individuals, and individuals with lighter hair have less success with lasers.
Electrolysis always works but is more work, more expensive for the same amount of work, and more painful. What many people do is laser first(you aren't supposed to see final results from laser until 6 treatments or so, although you should see SOME results after 3-4 treatments) and finish with electrolysis. It's important to know how they both work. The electrolysis fully damages and hopefully kills the hair pholicle, because it's a direct powerful signal sent through the individual hair. Laser hopes to kill many pholicles at once by targeting the pigmentation of the hair in contrast to the skin and burning it out.
If you're fair East Indian, there are better laser choices. Most say they reduce hair but not kill it forever. Alexandrite and ruby lasers are permanent but only work with fair skin and dark hair. For a deeper complexion, you may have results with the LightSheer laser,,,it works on all skin tones and is permanent but requires more treatments.
I mean no disrespect to anyone but I do not recommend electrolysis under any circumstance. I found it to be scarring even when done by an expert. I wound up with pitting and white scars that required fillers and laser treatments to fix. I would never ever do it again...Laser is definitely the way to go imho

thnx everyone . i had contacted berkowitz and they had a package for full face .i had my first session on saturday (ooh that hurts even after local (i think some kind of mild anaesthetic)) but i tolerated by thinking i am in process of claiming myself back. however as you already stated i hav'nt noticed any change. my next session is after two weeks.
one thing more ,the technician stated i have beard and more hard hairs it would be painful(nou much but more than a on a born female) and also due to genetics. i had'nt understand ,why is it so ? maybe some of you know .

I had electrolysis during the course of several years - but I only went maybe one Saturday per month for one-hour sessions, not weekly or more frequently as many do. Both my plucking and electrolysis seemed to become complimentary working to supplant each other. After maybe a year or so, I plucked less frequently than daily or even as much as only weekly - a week following one session and a week preceding the next electrolysis session.
I never had laser but my understanding is that laser requires more treatments of the same skin area to eventually reduce the hair.
I had a good electrologist. She prepped my face with witch hazel, then she zapt the hair follicle one time. That was all it took to make them gone forever. She continually wiped my facial treatment area with witch hazel and finished with another dab to sooth my skin; she recommended I do so at home. Plucking hairs helpt destroy the follicle root which made it easier for electrolysis to kill that root.
My face is nice; I have no scarring.
To be honest, I do not know what I would do nowadays; I date to the 1980s. I know that I would pluck between treatments. I just do not know whether I'd go all one way with one treatment or do both laser and electrolysis - laser to set the foundation and get the big patches cleaned and reduced quickly then electrolysis to finish the worst and stubborn hairs. That certainly is a good idea.
Talk with both laser and electrolysis people - get complimentary treatments to determine what you determine to be what you want. It's your well-earned money and your face.

Hi. I am of Indian ethnicity so I probably understand your skin better than most here.
I had 5 sessions of laser and my hairs fell off after 2 weeks and they grow back weaker after 2-3 more weeks. Eventually it will be down to a small thin fuzz which is perfectly OK.
Someone here said that dark skin people don't have as much success with laser? That is not true. The Nd:YAG is specifically made for our skin and it works very well. In fact I might even say it works better than many with fair skin because our hairs are also darker. I have had 5 sessions with the YAG and my face is smooth 2 weeks after.
I used to think that electrolysis was my only option and I went to an electrologist paying weekly and only getting a small patch cleared at a time and having to grow it out 2-3 days before. I should have gone for the laser first because it was just going slow for me. Now I have a smooth face and the hairs are getting fiber when they grow back. Eventually they will all be reduced to almost nothing.
