Title: Personal Mantras
Post by: JynxRosalie on August 26, 2015, 11:25:08 PM
I hate exercise, so doing any kind of working out or cardio is awful for me. However, that's why I decided to write this post. I've noticed my desire to transition has kept me on the diet I started a while ago (lost 25 lbs. so far~) but I wanted to start targeting my weight loss on my stomach and thighs. Lately I've been randomly breaking away to do things like sit ups and lunges for about 15 mins. Normally I can't stand doing things like this, but I've found myself repeating the phrase "I will develop a cute girl body!," or variations of this and it really keeps me going. Does anyone else have a personal sort of chant or mantra they used to keep them going in any aspect of their transition?

Yup, and I'm work shopping more of them. They tend to be pop culture references.

"Strong like an Amazon." From Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
"Fear cuts deeper than swords" From A Song of Ice and Fire.
