Hi, I'm Jessi and after 58 years of being in limbo I talked to a great therapist last week for the first time. She was the first person I ever told my private story to. Not even my wife of 25 years new anything about my struggle that I have had my entire life. I been divorced now about 4 yrs, and since then my female side has been coming out more often and intensely. I can't begin to tell you how scared that makes me feel. I really didn't know what this was till I started during research resently. I have decided to inbrace these feelings in hopes that I will finally find peace. HRT is coming soon, electrolysis, who knows what next! Whish me luck.

Hey Jessi.
And welcome to the forums. There is an amazing amount of experience here for you to draw from. Amazing women with amazing stories.
Jessi,
Except for the divorce and I have three teenage daughters, sounds relatively similar to my experience. I was either without a clue or in deep denial till my 50th.
I am going slowly, out to my wife and a few friends and that is about it. I am underdressing, removing as much hair a possible on the body, doing electrolysis, and starting low dosage HRT in a few weeks. My wife is cautiously optomistic and we are staying in touch.
Hope that wasn't TMI. All that really means is I am familiar with much of what you speak. There are a lot of greatly concerned people here.
Welcome, pull up a chair. Let us know if we can get you anything or if you have questions.
With warmth,
Joanna
Thank you Joanna
