Hello all!
I just came from my doctor's appointment where I started my HRT! I am still shaking from a combination of happy excitement and nervous terror. [emoji4]
I go back for a follow up level count in a few weeks, and will be given my sub-dermal estrogen and start on Spiranolactone then too.
I just wanted to share the news with someone. Anyone that would listen actually. So thanks for being those people!

Welcome to Susan's Place. Congratulations on getting a couple of items checked off your list (HRT and therapy). What can we help you tackle next?

Well, I'm not really sure to tell you the truth. HRT was the next big thing on my list. I have already started laser hair removal, been in therapy for 6 months, have been working hard to get in shape and drop some extra weight, and have told my wife and son. I think for right now all I can do is just keep plugging away at what I'm doing and watch what happens.
I'm really hoping that as the hormones kick in, I loose some of the anxiety that I feel and become more comfortable with who I am. :)
The T blockers should help with that but it is a long road. Let us know when you think of something.
Good luck and keep us updated.
I have my first intake appointment in 4 weeks, so I'm right there with ya. My wife knows and is being great about it.
Just a matter of time before we start to see its effects :)
