Title: So...first Laser...
Post by: ShackledPhoenix on September 04, 2015, 08:00:15 PM
And OWWW!

I've done electrolysis, I've had tattoos in sensitive places (not there.. eww), I even had an infected tooth pulled with no anesthesia.  I've always considered myself fairly tough.

That... hurt though.  Not enough I couldn't sit through it, but it felt like getting scratched by pins dipped in habanero sauce.

Still... Next appointment scheduled and huzzah! A small step toward a happier future.

Excuse me, I'm off to treat myself with yogurt and booze...

Well I think any amount of pain that doesn't leave perm marks is worth it, right?

I know right? I've been postponing mine just due to the pain factor.

Ive also heard of some people using lidocaine to numb their face before going in. So I bought a bottle of Aspercreme with lidocaine and the pain at least halved for me. It's only a few dollars for a big bottle.
