Question:
Does the Jenna Talackova incident raise concerns about a Trump presidency?
Option 1: Yes, because it indicates he doesn't support transgender identities.
Option 2: No, because, regardless of the reason, he did the right thing in the end.
Jenna Talackova was a Miss Universe contestant in 2012 who was initially banned by Donald Trump, who owned the Miss Universe pageant because she was transgender and pageant rules required contestants be "naturally born women". After Talackova threatened a lawsuit, he relented and allowed her to compete.
Should our community be concerned about a Trump presidency based on this incident?
Humble request: I ask that we keep any discussion within the bounds of the site TOS and refrain from posts directly bashing Mr. Trump or his party.
I'm not concerned at all about a Trump presidency. Boom! The implosion's gonna be yooooge!
hmmm.... let's see.... pageant lawyers say gosh transgender girl wins other girls sue us , she can't compete. Oh darn transgender girl suing us better let her in. lawyers gotta love em. mere speck of dust in the cosmos of life !
I still think to be able to go into a high class restaurant 24//7 and raid the refrigerator is something to be admired .
