...to two of my closest friends! They are the first real-life persons I've ever told, other than my wife. Their reaction was, - if I remember correctly, I was a bit intoxicated - "That's awesome!", "Give me five!" and then: "were so happy you trust us enough to tell us!"
I knew I could count on a supportive reaction from them, but it was still very scary to share this closely guarded secret. Not least because it makes it so much more real - not just thoughts and dreams, but words spoken out loud.
Next week I'm starting laser, and then I have my first appointment with a gender therapist. This is actually happening. I'm scared, but very happy. :)
