Title: New Reelmagik Products
Post by: FtMGearReviews on September 20, 2015, 10:39:23 AM
Hello everyone, I'm new here and will probably be a regular on the "FtM Gear" section. I've made a number of reviews on my Tumblr blog "FtM Gear Reviews", with more to come this week along with many more to come. I'll be posting those on here this week as well. I have emailed Reelmagik about working with me and they were very eager to give me information to disclose to the community. They told me that they would be introducing three new product catergories, with a number of new products in each catergory along with new pricing. They said that some of the product categories they are introducing are completely new and have not been offered by anyone in the FtM market. They will also be releasing a number of uncircumcised models, as well as an updated STP model. These products will be released with with their new website that has been completely redesigned from the ground up to enhance simplicity and ease of use, along with a number of modern features and an improved shopping cart experience. I am beyond excited to be bringing this news to you guys and can't wait to see what Reelmagik has in store for us. Have a great day guys.  :)

This is fantastic news! I have been planning to purchase a RM prosthetic sometime soon but now that they are going to offer more then I will wait until the new stuff comes out. Do you know any time frames by chance on when they plan to launch all of this?

In their first email to me they said they were working on products they would unveil in the next month or so, in the second email they said it should be an exciting fourth quarter for them. I hope this helps :)

Any idea if they'll try to shorter the time between ordering and receiving? I know production takes time but last time I had a look it was 4-6 months which is a long time.

They said they already shortened their average processing time by 5 weeks and hope to more than double that number by the time their new website debuts. Hope this helps :)

WOW!!!!!  I'm super excited right now!!! I'm literally grinning ear to ear and have this urge to just get up and dance lol!  No but seriously this is phenomenal news!!!  Thank you so much for letting us know!!  I CAN'T WAIT to see the new store.  Some things that really caught my eye on your post

Three new product CATERGORIES?!?  I'm literally racking my brain right now trying to think what they could be.  Can you answer/do you know if the catergories will all be in the prosthetic area?  I would figure that they won't be releasing like their own binder etc. so that would mean it'll all be new prosthetics?!?  ;D ;D ;D ;D And some of the product catergories aren't offered by anyone else?  I'm wondering if that means that Reelmagik is coming out with an EJACULATING PROSTHETIC?!?!?

I literally could not be any happier if that's the case!!!  Having Reelmagik release an ejaculating prosthetic would completely remove my bottom dysphoria.  Like I have a Reelmagik now and it is basically perfect; it looks and feels great but I must say that if they come up with an ejaculating model I will literally feel 100% complete.  Oh I'm so excited!

Maybe they've even come up with a way to have the prosthetic flaccid to erect response be based on heat and movement?  I thought I remember reading maybe here or somewhere else that it might be possible to have silicone that expands when heated?  So by regular penis manual stimulation you could make your penis get hard?

I also wonder if they might be offering a smaller size of flaccid prosthetics for the young transguys?  More and more kids are coming out young and transitioning young I wonder if they might be offering something for our littlest brothers?

I'm VERY excited about the uncircumcised options as well!! I wonder if the foreskin on those will be completely movable?!?  I'm pretty sure every other company that offers uncut has the foreskin fused to the head so if Reelmagik offers it movable that maybe is one of the things that they're offering that no one else is??

I wonder what the updated STP will have?  Probably hair; wonder what else though?

Yeah wow I'm so excited if you couldn't tell lol!  ;D ;D ;D  Do you know if it should be closer to the beginning or end of the fourth quarter that the new webstore will be out?  Anything else you can share?

All of the new products/categories they'll be introducing will be in their FtM Prosthetics. I'm really excited to see what they have in store for us and already forming ideas as to what the products might be. I'm so excited I can barely stand it. I don't know exactly what time their fourth quarter is at but the products will be coming soon. I know the "Complete Man" has really mobile skin, and Reelmagik's can be lifted up and stretched. If I discussed ideas to what the new products might be I'd be here all day haha, but one thing I do know is that if they're coming from Reelmagik they're going to be quality. :)

Nice all new prosthetics!!!  I'm SO excited too!!  I'm doing the same; just wondering what the possibilities can be!!

Oh cool I didn't know that about "Complete Man".  And yes I totally agree;  whatever Reelmagik comes out with is going to be quality. :)

That is AWESOME news! I am definitely looking forward to the uncircumcised models and I am really hoping they are quite soft! I'd also love something around the 3 inch mark instead of 4. I can't wait to see what they come out with :)

Sounds good! I tested their previous STP and was a bit disappointed. Hopefully I can get my hands on a new one to review too :)

I'm curious about their new and "improved" STP. The things I didn't like about their STP had to do with the following:  the hard feeling of the balls, the smallness of the pee funnel (which makes it unforgiving if you don't position it just right to pee) and the lack of girth of the shaft.  While I liked the realism and freckles of the penis, I feel that the shaft is a little too skinny.  It looks almost scrawny to me, but it's just my opinion.  There is also the weight issue of the STP and their packers; they are heavy.

I'm not at all interested in the uncircumcised models.  I own their 6" packer and while I love it, the girth of this one is too wide.  I do like the softness of it.  I wouldn't mind if they added more details with the veins. Other than that, I can't think of anything else I would want from their prosthetics.

The balls do look a little bit thicker than other models I've seen, I think if they added more gel and made the skin less thick it might solve this issue. The shaft's girth bothered me too, it looks too long and skinny for my tastes.  I think the weight is a real big issue that needs to be addressed and this would also help adhering as well as comfort. I would like the funnel to be a bit bigger and I would also like the tab to be a bit smaller or include hair. I'm really hoping for some erect models with less girth. I'm also excited to see what other products they're cooking up.

I actually enjoy the weight, makes it feel real to me. But definitely an improved stp system would be great. Added play/pleasure capabilities would be ideal as well. It disappointed me that something so realistic looking wouldn't work too well for me because of the importance of full functionality in my life. (not just stp and packing capabilities.)

I would love a 3n1 from Reelmagik, I really hope we see one soon. I've heard a lot of guys comment on the weight, and for me I would really only want to see it change for adhering reasons but I have seen a lot of guys on this site say they have problems with heavy packers. While I like big packers and packers with weight because I like feeling something hanging I hope it wouldn't affect my being able to adhere it, as I don't like harnesses.

Interesting! I much prefer harnesses. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the idea of adhesive. Having an invisible holding device that will make it much easier to pass naked and whatnot? For sure! I just have never seen adhesive that works exactly as it should and it's more trouble than it's worth for me currently... I have to shave almost daily, but then not adhere it immediately after for fear of small hairs getting stuck in the glue. Then there's cleaning the prosthetic, the adhesive gets so much gunk stuck in it that takes hours to pick off and clean. Also it's a sticky mess most of the time for me. I have tried a LOT to make it work, but have yet to. If they can make it easier, and more effective, I'd be down because as I said, I love the idea. But for now a harness is just much easier for me personally.

That's seems to be a general consensus, I see a lot of guys who've said they've never gotten adhesive to work. I've never tried it but like you and a lot of other guys I am in love with the idea. Here's hoping to new and improved adhering.

The new products look awesome. I like how they have different textures as an option for the packers, and even a lightweight option! I was hoping for some basic erect models with less realism (like the basic packers) but oh well. Do you know what products you will be reviewing? :)

Here's a quick overview:
The products they're introducing today include:

-5 new packs n play products, including petite models for trans youth and those with small body frames
-3 new packer models
-2 new packer styles/features: super soft and lightweight models
-A dedicated "ready to ship" page for products that are already made (10 available products at this time)
-Faster processing time (less than half the previous wait time)
-Lower pricing on some models
-Lower shipping costs, including a flat $29 fee for all international shipping
-DHL Express shipping now available
-New shopping experience with dedicated inline cart
They'll be adding even more products soon, and hope to lower processing by a few more weeks. They also hope to release new and updated products every few months! So what do you guys think? I'm going to try and give them as much feedback as I can.

Well I'm not really that impressed, the way this thread had been going, talking about offering new products never seen before etc I find myself underwhelmed lol

But as always reelmagiks products look incredibly detailed and high quality.
I'm a little confused about their new packer options however, seeing that there is "lightweight, soft, or classic"
I think they could a little bit better job comparing those three options, and they should have demonstration videos to get a better idea of textures.

They did add some new videos to YouTube, but I hope they add more. I was very happy to see cheaper options. They do show you the difference in weight between the classic and lightweight though some videos comparing the firmnesses would be nice. I'm wondering what they're working on now. Shoot them some suggestions! Feedback is always good.

True.  Plus, the lightweight is "coming soon".

It is interesting how they have really "stepped it up", creating so many products and saying they will be available within 3.5-5 months.  I can't help but wonder if they have stepped up their game since there are other companies out there now whose products are "good enough", that people are ordering those, rather than accepting the 8-9 month wait for a Reel Magik product.  They have never really had competition before, besides Emisil.
Title: Re: New Reelmagik Products
Post by: FtMGearReviews on December 04, 2015, 10:38:15 PM
It may be because they've offered the same products for so long, meanwhile others are trying new things. One thing I hope is that they create equal sizing. They really stepped up to the demand for uncircumcised packers and prosthetics but they don't offer a circumsized/uncircumcised option for all sizes, which is troubling. I would really like to see some mid-price prosthetics and pack n plays from them. $100-$300 maybe. Also I would really like to see a basic packer with just the realistic testicles, maybe they can keep the price down but still offer that feature. I think they're trying to make more reasonable priced products. They're unmatched in realism by far, although I do love the look of Emisil, but it's a lot easier to get business when every one of your products doesn't cost an arm and a leg(though they may be worth it). The cheaper models do look really good, and I do like that they're including new options. They couldn't get them all done in time for launch so hopefully we'll be seeing some more great things from them.

So I ordered one of the new simple packers in soft and it just arrived five minutes ago...

I LOVE it.

It is so different in feel to the classic that I can't even really compare them. It's even softer than a Mr. Limpy. It honestly feels as soft as my current downstairs anatomy. It feels so, so comfy. And the detail is to die for.

Cons:

It does stick to itself a little when everything is squeezed together.  And it's SO soft and stretchy that I'm almost worried it'll tear if I stress it too much (like in a harness, or something).  I can see a few teeny tiny air bubbles on the back under the flat "tab" area? But those are honestly barely noticeable.  Um...this probably wouldn't make for a good DIY STP, if that's something you're interested in. Aside from the price, I feel like the softness would be really hard to drill through accurately? Though I'm seriously considering trading in my RM STP to buy another of these to try it out. THAT'S how much more realistic it feels.

No problem!  I want to do a more useful, in-depth one once I've had it a while.

One thing I've noticed that it is A LOT stickier than the regular model, but not in the same way that non-silicone packers are sticky. Like...it sticks to itself, and it sticks to things like flat, clean skin (pretty well actually...even without adhesive), but it doesn't attract dust and hair and stuff.

Another thing I've noticed is that it seems so much more delicate than the other models. It -feels- delicate. Like it stretches under its own weight and I get nervous of tears. But this could just be me being anxious.

@Nowhereboi

Have you corn starched it for the stickiness? I brush my rm basic packer after I wash it every single time. It's already got some tears under the base of the shaft 0_0 but I'm not worried. (Could be because I dyed it) I'm wondering how long your soft one will last compared to the original? I bet the soft one feels more like a naturally flaccid penis than the original packer. I was hoping the soft one has a softer head and balls than the original and better at the infamous: "grab test" lol
Can't wait for that review!

I'm more worried that people might find it TOO soft.  Like...it almost squeezes flat if you press it between your palms hard enough. It feels so real under clothing, though.  I haven't corn starched it yet, because I still need to take pictures of it in it's original state.  Mine came with some sort of powder still on it, and it hasn't washed off with simple soap and water...it'll probably come off with alcohol, though...which is the recommended cleanser.

EDIT:
Ugh. The powder wouldn't come off easily with alcohol...I think maybe they added the matting agent too early or something and it stuck to the surface? It's really not the biggest deal, but it gave the packer a kind of...ashy look. Which bugged me.  So I used some orange oil adhesive remover...similar to theater prosthetics stuff like Bond Off! and the like...worked a charm, but the surface is EXTRA tacky now. AND I tore the foreskin a little trying to use just the alcohol to clean off the coating. The tears are teeny tinyyyy though. Maybe .5 mm deep? Not anything that could justify a return or anything. Should be easy enough to fix with sealant.

I'm def. ordering a back up.

Maybe this can be the one I try to make an STP out of.

Well! that's frustrating. I guess we shall see how it goes after you've had them a little longer too, durability wise. Good luck with turning it into an stp and starting fresh with your back up. And, do you feel like it's too soft? Or do you think maybe you'll get used to it? I always wear a harness with mine so i'm worried the weight of the harness might cause tearing on one so soft? I'm getting a little nervous about getting one and I should save up for a pack n play anyway.

I've been thinking about getting the lightweight model 5''.. As I've been waiting for a lightweight realistic packer like this for a really long time that doesn't need powdering. If I do end up getting it I'll definitely post a review.

I've ordered the 3 inch, payment cleared Dec 10th.. I haven't received any postage info from Reelmagik yet but they say 3-5 days anyway and I'm not counting weekends (probably still making the thing!). I'm actually really excited for the softness you are talking about Nowhereboi. I haven't been able to find anything soft ENOUGH, even their original 4.5 inch basic packer was too hard for my liking. Hopefully I will have a successful packer for the new year!

So excited about these new products! I've been hoping that they would come out with an uncut model and smaller sizes for a long time. I am hopefully going to order one of the 5-inch Basic Packers soon -- probably in Classic since I've had trouble with rips with other packers in the past. I've never done a review before, but I might try if you guys are interested.

I ordered the 5inch uncircumcised soft packer, and it's really phenomenal. Softest packer I've ever owned. I ordered it because my previous go-to packer, the Archer from NYTC, tore under the shaft (my bad, pulled the shaft through a too-small O-ring) the day before RM released their new webstore. It's way softer, way larger, and way heavier than my NYTC packer, but the detail is CRAZY and it's perfect through pants/underwear. At first, I was wary of how soft it was, but after wearing it for a few days, I can't imagine going back to any other packer.

The shipping info tells me it's in Australia already! I'm expecting to see it tomorrow, I hope it's really soft as that has always been my biggest issue with packing!

My 5" Uncircumcised Classic Basic Packer is officially shipped! I should get it within the next week or so. I'll post again when I receive it.
