so i am a overweight and i have man boobs (i plan to lose wight before i start hrt ) but i was wondering if anybody knew if you are a mtf and you have man boobs could that help with breast development when you start hrt just a question
I've had moobs since I was 10 years old(I'm 43 now)I hope to G-d they become decent looking Boobs. Good luck to you dear.
Well, I had best development before I started HRT. I lost some weight, started HRT and then kept losing. I did develop large breasts. However, it's more difficult to loose weight after one starts HRT.
Hope thar helps.
Hugs
Jen
It's hard to say - moobs are different from boobs, essentially they are just fatty deposits whereas breasts have a lot of complex glandular development underlaying the fat and giving structure to the breast.

That ain't no lie!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, it depends on whether you had actual breast tissue development or not. I did, a bit (a pediatrician diagnosed it) and it definitely did give my breasts a head start; I had visible tiny boobs in the first week of HRT when the breast buds made everything perk up and stick out again.
And I did end up a C-cup at four months, so I'm guessing it helped with speed of development, if not necessarily final size (topping out around a 38DD now).
being significantly over weight myself and with only 6-7 months on hormones I can't say it has given me much of a head start, though if my stomach was not so visible they would likely look much better.
One thing I can warn you about, with most women when breasts start to develop things get sensitive to pain run a nipple into something and its not a fun time and as things develop eventually you find that jogging or running is painful and at the very least you need a sports bra to keep thngs from bouncing and hurting as the developing tissue is shaken all around. But as I had some real chest weight to start there was no adjustment period, the day they started to hurt was the day running and jogging became a serious no no.
I actually remember a month or so into HRT I ran across the road and 3 steps in my chest yelled at me but stopping meant getting hit by a car so I finished running across the road and then ended up on the other side holding my poor chest and half laugh half crying about how crazy it was.

I have a B cup and start Spiro on Wednesday with Estradiol 2 weeks later, AND I am only 65 kg so assume a head start is indicated here, I wish !
