About to come out at workplace I am!
There is no dressing code at my workplace. Casual wear is fine. But at some point I will want to wear a business suit. So, started looking through the stores. One first thing I learned is, there are no interior pockets.
I looked up. Found the solution with neck wallet and liked it. I already have one simple neck wallet that will solve my troubles. Of course, picked one I can wear over a shoulder and across my chest. Would feel like that St. Bernhard of mine if I wore it around the neck.
Seems like a neat and elegant solution even. Wanted to share here.
Well one might be to attach pockets yourself... of the desired size :)
And another belt pockets...
Pockets tend to be few or small on most woman's clothes because women aren't supposed to carry anything in them. The idea is women don't want bulges in there garments so about the only thing they carry in a pocket is a single key or some tissues. For years I tried to follow that rule but with women wearing their shirt out, hiding the bulge has become easy sometimes.
Regarding pocket position, area around the back is ideal.
Regarding 'bulges', it is a thin wallet I would like to keep in a hidden compartment. And also a thin phone. A pocket on the jacket would have been less of a bulge for both, but a neck wallet works as well as storage for my stuff.

Well if attaching pockets yourself its completely possible to use solid cloth so there is no bulge... or not much.
Its only when thin materials are used that things in the pocket shine through.
That is why most women always carry a handbag.
barbie~~
Alredy using neck wallet, worn on a shoulder with lace across the chest.
Happy with it, have both hands free, it is super light and thin.
Now I can proceed with getting those business suits.

Exactly. Even if you carry a wallet, what about everything else? I can't imagine going through the day without even a small clutch or purse to hold tissues, lip gloss, phone, etc.

True for the outside world. At my workplace I can at least leave my bag at my desk without worrying someone will be going through it. While moving through the building from a meeting to a meeting, to a restroom, or simply for a lunch, I still want to have my essentials like ID, bank cards, etc. and phone on me. To take whole bag with everything in it is simply an overkill.
That's why.
