Please define Cis-gendered male or female in as simple terms as possible
Thanks,
Chrissy
Cis-gendered is the opposite to trans-gendered.
They identify as their natal birth gender.
<These questions are becoming tiresome>
Here's a nice glossary:http://www.glaad.org/reference/transgender
If you find it confusing, I'd suggest googling "transgender glossary" until you find one that works for you! I personally find glossaries very helpful, as the trans community has a lot of unique vocabulary. These days, I'm pretty fluent in "the language of gender," but we all have to start somewhere. Google is, in this case, my #1 resource. :)
Cis is LATIN -- "On this side of, within"
