I was bored, so I made this little thing. Of course there are people who aren't going to agree with me posting before and after pictures. I don't really care if people blast me for it. I'm sick of people blasting me because I don't think like them in here. Sorry, I'm not borg!
So, anyway, here's the old me and the new me. I find it really interesting to look back at these pictures. I like to see the changes. A couple of my friends have mentioned that it looks like I've been aging backwards. LOL
I know other people who would tear up their old pictures and completely cut that part of their life. And that is fine, you are your own person and you have the right to do that if you want. But just because I do it and not think like you it doesn't mean you need to devalue me. *done with rant, onto the show kiddies*

(PS I shrunk the file size down as much as I could so it could load faster and not use much bandwidth, so quality might not be top-par.

I'm going to bet none. I really don't understand those people who have said to me, "The surgeon did a good job."
That's simply amazing!
What's odd is the huge difference between 2001 and July 2006... *without* HRT, you look so different! You're face in July 2006 is already feminine... and even female.
Forgive me for saying it, but... you were really cute as a guy ;)
But an even prettier girl!
~Kate~
Um, yeah, I get the "cute as a guy" thing a lot. I just hope that I actually make a really cute girl, too, and ppl just don't say that.
I think it's the beard think that throws ppl off or something. I don't know why Pre-HRT I started looking like a girl, and yes, my face changed pre hrt so much that my old ID (one with a goatee) was constantly turned down at clubs and bars before I transitioned. Part of it might be because I'm wearing make up pre-transition.

my GF and I when we just hooked up in Sept. Ignore the fact that I have a boy t-shirt on with girl pants. I didn't have many girl clothes when I went full time and it was laundry day.... but it's a cute picture anyway. I think all of my boy clothes were gone Sept 10-ish.

I wish I had a copy of when I was on TV -- I think one of my friends might have a copy somewhere. Nothing like being on TV for a week to let everyone know you're now "natalie." (I was on TV talking about school shootings).

LOL, you really do! Uhm... DID! I love the evil goatee/scruff/mussed-hair look...
This stuff is seriously messing with my brain anymore, lol... I keep seeing pre-trans pics and videos of people and having crushes on their guy-selves, lol... which don't exist now, and yet it's still them, but now they're female, and yet always were, and...
IT MAKES A GIRL INSANE!
And yes you ARE a cute girl! You have GREAT hair... darn it, lol. I wish. And nicely soft features.
You're WAY too hard on yourself! I can't believe you changed that much over just a YEAR of HRT. And just think... most say the effects don't even start leveling-off for TWO years, and even then keep going...

I think you should have somebody photoshop your before and after pictures together so you look like you're out as a couple with yourself.
Thnx Kate.

Here's my brother and me -- a time line. My brother and I used to look like twins. I was bigger than him, but now I feel so small around him. (And yes, notice the height difference with being on HRT for a year!) The girl pic was taken Aug. 24. My brother, quite mormon, didn't talk to me for 9 months after I told him what was going on. But now he talks to me and we get along. I'm happy for that. (not the same story with other family members, sadly)
Seeing my brother in person is surreal, it's like stepping back in time and seeing myself for a moment. It's really weird! He's younger than me, btw (1.5 yrs).

That could be fun! I know photoshop (yes, I'm a graphic designer, but didn't finish school so I'm still doing retail. I want to go back to school as soon as I can, however. I've done a few things career wise with design, like co-owning a magazine, making ads and lots of volunteer stuff... sux that my profile is all under my old name, although).

Thnx Kate. :) I can't remember the exact date, but I think I started HRT mid-aug-ish 2007. It was cute, a couple weeks a go I went with some of my T friends and I got free cake at the restaurant because it was my "birthday." Well, my year b-day, anyway. (My actual b-day is Dec. 1, '78).
Yeah! You look great. You were a good looking male too. ;)
I can't believe how different you looked, even when you weren't on hrt. Awsome!
In your male pic, you don't look very feminine, how did you look that feminine without being on HRT? When I looked at the pics, I was thinking " Huh?" ???
Anyways, Well done girl!
PS. I also like the pic with the Canadian flag in the background :)

We started at the same time then! I started on 8/10/06 (I assume you meant 2006 too). Count your blessings, HRT has been *great* to you. Don't get me wrong, I'm doing fine, but I sure didn't morph as much as you did. Of course, I had another 14 years of T influences to undo ;)
Been quite a year, huh? Did you EVER think... a year ago... that you'd be where you are now?
~Kate~
Drag queens and cross dressers look good without HRT -- and trust me, I've ran into these people from time to time and was like, "How the huh?" And then to see them with everything off, make up and all, and they look really male. But if you're looking for makeup tips, go for the cross dressers, since I had better luck with them than queens (queens usually do theatrical makeup and look, so it can look over done in a regular setting, while xdressers go all over the place, mall, etc).
But, yep, i came a long way with a year of HRT. It's crazy. I didn't expect that I'd change so fast. *shrugs*
And, yay, Kate, we started on HRT around the same time.
I must say that over that year you changed soooo much.
Oh yeah can I say I like your May 2006 picture :D Haha. I guess I'm weird but that picture is pretty awesome.
Anyways though, you changed so much over that year, you look so good now by the way. I like how in each new picture you have like a new hair color too haha. It's nice to switch things up a bit :)
Hopefully I can get somewhat smiliar results to yours a year from now :)
Congrats on HRT so far you look beautiful!
P.S. You should smile with your teeth more I think you looks great showing the teeth!
I should also mention that those pre-hrt girl pics are the *good* pics, I have some that I hate -- my body looks very male in those pics. My GF, I believe, still has the worst pictures of me on her myspace and no matter how much I've begged her, she hasn't taken them down. Grrr! It was a disaster, it was when I did my make up perfectly and then let a queen "show me a few tricks" and I ended up looking like a clown.
I also didn't post my first time every girl pic, I looked silly (my gf things I looked cute). I think it was taken may-ish 2006. Those were crazy days.

Yes, new hair colours. I recently went back to blue-black, then purple-black, and now I'm some kind a red toned (my whole head). It's not as bright, but you can see it in the light. I also did the Robert Smith phase (Cure) for a while. I have a few pictures of that. People used to call me Robert (Smith) and some called me Edward (Scissorhands).
Ashley, my gf, has gotten me to do her hair like I used to do before (I do her hair all the time, including coloring -- I once got red and black in her naturally uber curly hair so it looked like a gothy-candy-canes in her hair... really cool!).
Here's a picture where I did up her hair and took pictures of her (artsy ones, of course).

There was a huge jump from the May to July 2006. Was that when HRT began?

Aww, thnx Tink. My friend Chris likes my last picture (Sept 12) because I'm not really wearing make up and he says it's the most natural feminine one (although, in person, I look much, much better).

You progressed REALLY well so far. I've only seen a couple who went that far in that time.
If you look that much more feminine after NO HRT, it makes me more content. Kinda mention it cause of the whole rockstar thing. People say I look like Jim Morrison. I hope my eyes aren't so fierce and set in my head if I go through with this...
As for Shooping the pictures of me hanging out with myself, I actually had an idea similar to that. I'm considering doing like...A Long time morph with the same clothes as a film experiment if It ever happened. Its like modeled on my main character. Baseball shirt etc...
As for music...I wanna do a me playing multiple instruments in a video somehow. But this gives the idea...
What if you did a video like that, but make your female self in it later with like...backup vocals or keyboard?

:P I can make a music video. Although I'm not used to singing anymore, so I'd just lip sync to a band a like. That's a good idea... maybe I can make some kind of trans-rock-video on youtube. I don't play guitar that well anymore (never played really well, either). I have a keyboard now, actually. I used to play when I was in high school, but now I don't remember much. I'm relearning now.
As for backup vocals -- no way, I'm going to be the front girl. :D
damn, woman. You're hot *licks*
