Title: How does your hairs color affect your life.
Post by: liz on October 06, 2015, 10:30:16 AM
There is many myths on how hairs color may affect many aspects of our lives. I want to hear your stories about it.

In my case I am a "ginger" and I must admit that it's easier to tease men (I looked at how the same guys react to different girls). I am always push to leader position, no matter the job or the event (Well I hate being a leader, but I nearly all gingers I know are hired by companies as leaders ).

What about your experiences?

Well, I'm an academic and a brunette.  I seem to get by just fine as the "brainy brunette" of the group.

I am also a "ginger". I always caught on really quick and was always made a trainer at just about every place I have worked. Never really thought it was because I was a ginger though. I just always thought that I stood out in a crowd.

Though, I can't wait till my transition is done.

Ginger girls are hot! lol

I'm a brunette and I used to be quite introverted.  People could confide in me though, but it's been a long time.

Since then I've started hormones and I've become more of an ambivert (look it up) and I don't feel like I can adequately relate to ANYBODY right now, at least not the same way twice...  I feel like a high school girl who has no idea what's going on with her body and brain.  I cry SO EASILY now, it's ridiculous.  So yeah, I'm a hormonal teenager again.  I have so many memories flooding back now about how HORRIBLE high school was the first time around, I wouldn't wish that experience on my worst enemies, lol.

Anyways, I'm going to get my hair colored/highlighted in a few weeks, probably with auburn streaks or something, I'm going to let my stylist have her way with me, hehe.  So, I'm interested in other people's opinions of hair color so maybe it will influence my choice.  :)

So, I don't really have much to contribute to this thread it looks like, but I just felt like typing about my recent (and pending) experiences, some of which sort-of relate to hair color, lol.

I have black hair with light gold accents.

Do people of my ethnicity have much variation in hair color? I don't think so... so if companies are hiring based on hair color that means they are excluding people of certain ethnicities. Probably not a good idea?

This is something that never happened to me. I got physical effects (boobs, butt, hips, skin change, scent change) but zero emotional effects. However, I was always emotional and cried at the drop of a hat. And I always related better to women than men, and today I am more in tune with women in their 20s, 30s and 40s. So I guess my brain was likely 3/4 of the way there already.

I was emotionally flat prior to HRT. No highs, no lows, I just existed in a gray haze for the last ~13 years. So it may just be that I was unprepared for having emotions again in the first place, so now I'm just being dragged along for the ride, lol.

Well, I didn't said that they were excluding peoples but only that redhead usualy step faster in a leader position. I know that blond women usualy have more difficulty to get hired when the person who hire is a woman.

I remember this time :) . When after a great period of flat emotions, I began to cry for any emotions I had. Happy, i cried, angry, i cried, sad, i cried, crying, omg I was crying more lol. I feeled a little dumb at start but wow it was so good to finally feel alive. In my case it's stable now, I still cry often without a good reason but I don't feel dumb anymore.
