Title: do you think spirit and soul are the same thing?
Post by: katia on September 18, 2007, 09:11:24 PM
i like the idea that the body is the physical and the soul is non-physical and the spirit is the connection between the two. just to me a neat idea, but i'm atheist, so what do i know? ;)

The mind can imagine any thing it wants to.

I like that idea. I hadn't considered the spirit in that way before.  Thanks for the idea.

In any argument, you have to define your terms. The soul is the immortal you, the body is the physical finite part, and you have defined the spirt as the connection. Perfect. Do not let anyone argue against that. You have defined you terms, and if people want to discuss the idea, they have to agree to what you have defined. I like what you have defined.

Yes, both are the product of synaptic activity.

I used to believe otherwise.
