Title: just a few questions.
Post by: Laurie K on October 10, 2015, 12:29:45 PM
Hello All,

Yesterday I seen my endo for a checkup and script refill.  We discussed went over my T levels  that are now 7.0 mmol/l  and 222 pmol/l for estro. I do remember him saying that my levels of T would be optimum at around 2.0, but did not ask but  didnot  ask about E levels. What are some levels i would look to achieve

The best part (I think?) was that he introduced prometrium.  The information was that my levels would likely change faster. and that fat displacement and breast growth would increase (yay for that).  My main  concern is the mood swings that some go thru.  Where they severe ?  What were some good and bad experiences that you had on promitrium  I am embracing the  but need to be ready for the worst.   Thanx in advance   btw not sure if mmol/l or pmol/l are used outside Canada.

I've been on it for nine months.  For me, it feels like it stabilized my moods.  They might swing occasionally but less often and severe than before.  The biggest change is that I sleep like a teenager again.

Your estro levels converted should be 60 pg/ml

SEX
  pg/ml
  Women (> 18 years old)
  Follicular Phase  30-120
     Ovulatory Peak  130-370
     Luteal Phase  70-250
     Post-Menopausal  15-60

Well many aim for above 150-200...

Congrats on prometrium.
You might try to take it in the evening... it might make tired.

It has some anti androgen effects, might help with mood and breast growth and complement estrogen.

*hugs*

I am on prometrium too.  It has been a while since I started. I remember feeling more even in mood and it added a little to the breasts.
