Title: Aiding pre-T hair growth?
Post by: November Fox on October 12, 2015, 12:28:01 PM
Hey guys.

I did a reality check about getting into therapy and transitioning, and discovered it'll probably still be half a year to a year or more until I can start T.

So I'm doing everything I can do to aid testosterone naturally - I try to eat the right things, I work out, I take supplements. Don't know if there are any more methods I haven't tried, but those are the techniques I know of.

I also shave and I have a stubble going on, on both sides of the chin. They're black hairs but they remain in those two clusters and they don't seem to spread beyond that. I know I might be disappointed with the answer (won't grow any more hair unless on T), but I was just wondering if there's any of you who have had facial hair pre-T and had any luck boosting it.

I was really hairy pre-T but in order to help I ordered biotin off of amazon and it helped a lot. It's just another supplement you can take.

Hey there,

I was fairly hairy pre-T without doing anything extra. I added in Biotin to my daily supplements a few months on T and it has really helped with filling things in and encouraging more growth overall. I don't think it's terribly expensive either. I'd highly recommend it.

In addition to eating right and letting your existing hair grow, you can encourage hair to grow by exfoliating and massaging your face. I can't say how much it will help pre-T, but I did notice a big increase when I added exfoliating into my skin care routine.

Awesome! I'm going to look in to the biotin.

Exfoliating sounds good anyway. I've always had this annoying, greasy skin. Read somewhere that oil cleansing can help with that too...

Thanks!  ;D
