Title: Elephant juice
Post by: jennyfk on October 13, 2015, 07:46:15 AM
Well technically elephant feet but that's a cruel thread title and if you mouth the words elephant juice it looks like you're saying "I love you" which is a much nicer thing to say!

Back on topic....

I bought some lovely new heels the other day and happily strutted around my house in them content with how cute they looked with one small reservation: my elephant feet jammed into them.

I'm a UK size 7 (EUR 40, US 9) and i just feel like I have clown feet. I'm 5ft 11 so already conscious about being too tall to pass but heels are too damn gorgeous so I'm going to just have to be the beanstalk I suppose.

Throwing this out to the community: What size are you and how hard is it to find nice shoes for you ?

X

Jennifer

elephant feet NOT !  A u.s. size 9 would be pretty common for cis girls of the same height. You are one lucky girl and don't even realize it. I'm about the same height and wear a u.s. size 11 . Consider yourself blessed with girly feet !

I wear a US size 12 in and I'm around the same height.  Most stores here carry sizes up to 11, some only 10 so for the most part I have to shop online for all of my shoes.  *sigh*   ::)

If I have the right shoes on I don't think mine look overly large though, just have to work with what I have.....  and wear flared pants and jeans which is ok with me since I like them better anyway.  ;)

My wife is 5'5" and a size 9 US, and looks fine. :) You do NOT have elephant feet, especially at that height! My cis friend who's 5'11" is a size 12 US...

(I was a 10.5-11 when I started HRT; 9.5-10 now.)

Drum roll. I am 5'14" and I wear a US size 13. The last pair I purchased from Long tall sally's. My feet seem to have grown as I aged because my male size used to be 11 1/2 and I could wear a 12 in a woman's shoe. Unpacked my dress shoes a short time ago (haven't wore them in about 10 year) only to discover they didn't fit thus the size 13s which fit perfectly. I think in my case, Duck feet would be more appropriate.  ;D

First you have to get your arms around the elephant.  :)

I'm a UK 9/9.5, or a US 10.

I figured the joke was gonna be in the original post. I was tricked into saying it to a few girls in my class back at school.

I would gladly take nines over my size 10-11 feet. My sister and mother have similar size feet to mine as well. That is a wonderful size to have.

I guess my feet are ok in length then but the width...OMG doesn't even describe it.

I'm clearly just whining cos speaking to other girls pretty shoes are pain - end of!

I'm 5'6" and wear a US size 8.5-9.  So, you're 5 inches taller with the same size feet!  Lucky you.  :P

My wife is 5'4" and US size 7.5-8 I think, so we're actually kinda proportional to each other, but she can't steal my shoes, lol.

I keep thinking I have big feet too, when I'm wearing flats, but in heels, dayum they look nice, hah!

I'm 6'1" and wear a US size 13.  I get my shoes from Long Tall Sally or Nordstrom's Rack.  Nordstrom's opened a new store near me a couple of weeks ago and I discovered 3 full racks of size 13's.  I may have overdone it a bit but I got 11 pairs.

Oh damn you're lucky! I wear size 12 wide. They are hard to find. I see advertisements for cute shoes all the time. I click on them and look for size 12 wide or regular. No luck most of the time.
