Well aside from my doctor saying that she can see hair growth with this hair medicine, I have had zero side effects from this medicine and like she said some have really bad side effects so Im lucky. She had to do a blood test as required but nothing bad.
I than went to get my the ends of my hair trimmed. She could see the hair had actually thickened up some. It's slowly thickening back up. My mom and her said unlike when we cut it all off last time 8 months ago, they both were like "Were not gonna stop you from being you". Not much was taken off at all but she just evened it out. My hair length is a tad below lip level right now and it grows fast. She got me some hair iron product to protect from burning of the hair.
Last feb when it was cut super short, I cried that night. Id pull at my hair and than had trouble sleeping. The next day was bad. It was so bad, my boss/friend and another person working thought maybe I should not work that day. I was crying infront of them. It made my dysphoria go crazy and it was bad. My mom knew about this and than our families hair stylist knew to.
Im glad things are so much better now. I can't wait for 8 months from now where it's even longer that I can wear a ponytail by that time. Things are way better than they were.
That is wonderful.
I had been growing my hair for at the time for 14 months June 2014 when I needed a trim to get the split ends off and evened out. The place I went to cut 3-4 inches off and I was so unhappy and emotional from that it was a serious issue for 2 days or so. I understand how it feels to take pride in growing out your hair to have it taken away in an instant from someone you put your trust into.
wonderful :)
That's wonderful news, Congrats Larissa. Hugs
