Hiya
My name is Camryn, I'm not really sure how to go about this whole thing. I always thought I had to do really manly stuff and worked hard to be a man, but honestly i don't like my image as a male. In fact I can't stand it. I really really want to transition but I'm really afraid of the repercussions of people. Like, my bosses are both lesbian so they probably wouldn't even mind it at all but. Im just scared of what people would say/do... I really really like dressing up in cute clothes and stuff when I'm home. Another thing is, I have no idea how to have a femanine voice. I think when i have really long hair again, I may just try to trans. I just dont know tho :/
Hi Camryn and welcome to Susan's. You did just fine. One step at a time. There are different things that you can do to help your voice from getting voice coaching to watching youtube videos that show you how to raise your voice. Fear is a big concern for most of us. I was concerned with what others would think, but I wasn't going to let it stop me this time. The first time it did. What you want and need is what matters, I would net what others will think and want stop you from doing what you need to. I look forward to seeing you around the forums. Good luck and Hugs

Hi Camryn and welcome to Susan's.
:)
Hi Camryn,
A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.
There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in start talking and ask any question you like. You're quite safe here and we are very accepting.
Transition starts from the inside and works its way to the outside. Focus on getting to know your inner self first, then let that lead you out into society, fearlessly with total confidence. Don't make the mistake by making up other peoples minds for them. The only person you'll ever be able to change, is you. If someone has a problem with you; guess what; it's their problem NOT yours. You've got enough of your own to deal with. Cut them loose and let them solve their problems.
Live the life you've always wanted to, not somebody else's.
Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.
Lotsa huggs
Catherine
