I was kinda bored this morning and felt the urge to post. I love being in a good mood... and this morning was more of a giddy one. With all hallows' eve on the horizon, once again it's time to get out and have some fun. A full weekend of costuming and fun (it's on a Saturday).
I have been going wild with fittings and finding the perfect costumes. To make things even better, there's a random costume day scheduled the week after! More clothes!! Who wouldn't be excited! Right?
My friends are so great! 80s cartoon costumes for the night out, super villains for Halloween, and a night of "free for all". I had everything lined up for 80s cartoon night, until my Rainbow Brite idea got hijacked by my friend's sister. So I delivered that one for the cause. I was a little let down, but it also gave me the opportunity to elevate my game.
Yesterday I came up with Strawberry Shortcake! POW!! As luck would have it, I found the last one! It was clearance, and it just fit... barely. (That was a bitter sweet issue, 1. My booty seems to be filling out the skirt YAY! 2. it will soon be very limiting on what I can wear without flashing people). They make these things so short...
I showed it to my friend She just laughed, and said "PERFECT!". Just don't sit, kneel, bend over etc... she said I could pull it off with a spotter, or get some "voodoo magic" alterations done.
I think I'll go with the spotter idea. She doesn't know it yet, but the Rainbow Brite dress that her sister spoke for is just as short... (serves her right, ha ha ha...) It's turning out to be a great time! Provided there are no wardrobe malfunctions. ;)
Sorry about the ramblings, but I am having one of those days where my mind seems to be all over the place. I'm only worried that I won't be able to wait for Halloween! 2 weeks is a very long time to wait... the end. :D
