I was curious, how many other ladies were going out to celebrate Halloween? And if so, what costumes caught your eye?

I am a Halloween fanatic! My favorite time of year... I have several already picked out (6 months in advance). I am going to stretch the holiday out as long as possible!

Of course Harleen Quinnsel will be one. She's just too cool... Bender from Futurama, I had to... and of course Gadget Hackwrench from the Rescue Rangers. Just the ones that spoke to how I see myself. A mischievous loveable trickster, an infamous party animal, and the polite mechanic/tinkerer.

Since my birthday is the day before Halloween and I live in New Orleans, I will be dressing ridiculously and watching other ridiculously dressed people at the Krewe du Boo parade :)

I haven't been in a costume since I was nine years old......that stops this year! I'm going to a transgender Halloween party tomorrow night, the 16th. http://www.meetup.com/Scarletts-Makeovers/events/225423913/ I'll be in a candy corn costume with a candy corn dress, hat, purse, shoes, necklace, and even candy corn panties!  >:-)

The costume gets a second outing in Provincetown on Halloween itself, will probably walk the downtown area and end up at The Boatslip for their dance.

Hugs, Devlyn

PS I'll get a picture up after tomorrow.

I plan on going to a friend's place as a Succubus. Got fake leather bat wings, corset, and micro mini skirt. Still need to build something to make the costume complete. Not sure what yet.

so despite being a geek, I haven't been dressed up for halloween in more than a decade but this year is diffrent, this year I have new costume options and will be working somewhere where I can dress up...the big problem is finding something to wear, so far the only advice I got was a friend who suggested "slut it up" not the most useful advice and no one wants to see my fat self in revealing clothing. I did have a man recently tell me I look like betty boo but that was just me in a dress and shoes no real costume.

ofcourse right now my financial situation really is hurting the costume idea, as it is I can barely afford to dress as me every day much less a costume, though I did consider trying to find the right green dress, dying my hair red and going as merida from brave. probebly really expensive though.

About a month ago I bought a "green fairy" costume.  It's a green sequin corset dress with wings.  It is very revealing in both the chest and the rear, and I definitely don't have the assets to fill out the top yet.  I am hoping I can wear a tank-top underneath it with a good padded bra and maybe some stuffing so it actually looks proportionate on me.  I can supply a pic from the company's website if anybody is interested, hehe.  I'll be supplementing it with probably some pantyhose, fishnets and a garter belt with sparkly black stilettos.  :D

Definitely like doing the costume thing. I tend to be a little reserved though because it's also a holiday for all the crossdressers to come out and dress up. No offense to them of course but I don't want to be mistaken for such.

NICE!   :icon_tenisclap:

Last year I went in Dia de los Muertos gear and was a bit on the conservative side as the makeup hid my pre FFS features even though I looked good. Now I am dressing as something that has "sexy" before it, as in sexy cat, sexy nurse, etc. I'm going to show off my body and for the first time my makeup will make sense on my surgically enhanced face. I was gonna do Baroness from GI Joe but I was too late in ordering anything and will do it next year, maybe post GRS by then. I don't want something as complicated as last year, I need a costume I can wear all day long.

Gee, everyone has such great ideas...

I'm going to be a walrus. I stole the idea from the time when I googled pictures of dogs in walrus costumes.
