Title: FFS in Great Britain
Post by: Jess3200 on October 16, 2015, 01:38:03 AM
Hello all,

I'm contemplating looking into FFS (here in the UK) and was just wondering what experience people have with British surgeons? Who's out there, how much does is tend to cost and are they any good?

Grateful of any comments. : )

Agreed.

Facial Team in Spain is a great choice too.

You can fly to Malaga for a little over £100 return.

Interesting. What is it about British surgeons that you don't trust?

I've had a look at Dr Bart van de Ven's work and it is impressive. Do you know roughly how much he charges?

They are not of the same level and there is nobody as I understand it the *specialises* is FFS. Sure, you can get rhinoplasty, or whatever, but they are not specialists in feminisation. That is important. Its also more expensive than Bart plus a plane ticket. Its really a no brainer.

As an aside, he is a nice guy. Not that its relevant for surgery, but he makes trips to foreign countries repairing cleft palate for free for children in poverty stricken regions.

Bart charges different amounts for different procedures. To know for sure you would have to contact them. They would require that you have a consult with him in canary warf london first though.

I wouldn't waste my money on any of the UK surgeons. Bart in Belgium charges much less and what he did with my face was very satisfactory.
